Hi,
We are receiving (through Outlook) a lot of protected Word documents,
containing quite a few checkboxes (around 30 across the whole doc). Word
opens by default the attachment in Reading Layout. When using the scroll
wheel (on any mouse), it not only makes the text move up and down, but it
also moves the focus between the checkboxes. At some point, it even modifies
the status (checked to unchecked and vice versa), but I have not been able to
find why (I made sure not to 'click' the wheel).
In the same veine, when you arrive at the end of the document, scrolling the
wheel in the same direction gets you to the beginning of the document again
(in other words you go round the document with a single direction scroll).
This might actually by design.
However, the first problem (not documented anywhere on MS's KB) is quite
clearly a bug. Can anybody confirm this?
This is all happening under XP with Office 2003, with SP1 installed.
