Hello,
My organization is evaluating Microsoft Project Server 2002. It
appears Project Server has difficulty handling multiple domains. Our
users log in to their workstations to a main domain (through a Novell
client). Project Server is setup on a test domain. The Project
Server is configured for Windows Authentication using this test
domain. Users are able to login to the Project Server with usernames
on this test domain. When trying to import and publish a project plan
they receive spooler errors. In the Manager column, it refers to
their username in the main domain, and not the username/domain for the
test domain (which they used to login to Project Server). Why is
this?
Can you offer any ideas how to resolve this issue? Does Project
Server not "work" when multiple domains are involved?
