using multiple templates in a single document

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to use multiple templates in a single document?

Basically I am making 6 differenet templates files but I want to be
able to select which template I use on each page and also when I add
another page to the document I want to be able to choose which
template I apply to it.

If anyone knows how to do this please let me know as it will be
greatly appreciated.
