Using My Pictures

Using the My Pictures/Picture Manager aspect of Office, I understand one can
view pics as a slide show. I've done it before, but today it only shows the
first picture, and doesn't move on, can't be forwarded manually. These are
(first time) from my new digital camera, but they are .jpg's, would that
make a difference/ If I'm in the wrong NewsGroup for this, please direct me
to the right one. Thanks!

Perhaps you are remembering "Fax and Picture Viewer". That does the
slide show. Picture Manager has Film Strip, and you need to click the
thumbnails sequentially.
