I'm using a 6pp 2 column newsletter template, and having a terrible time
deleting a single element. There was a photo place holder and it's partner
caption text box. I can delete the photo and it's frame or box, but the
caption seems to be locked. It is not even clickable.

I desparately need to delete this to make room for my text ( the caption
shows from behind the text). Can you please help me? Thanks in advance!

Thanks -

I assume you're using the Business newsletter? I am able to select and
delete everything. Specifically what element are you trying to get rid of?

Try turning on all of the hidden characters. It will help you see what's
going on behind the scenes.

Thanks, JoAnn - I'll try that. I ended up just downloading another version of
the template and started by deleting all the image place holders and
captions. Seems to work ok for now.

Gotta say - NOT loving Word 2007. At all. not even one little bit. Nothing
at all like the program I've used for, oh gosh, going on 15 years...
