Using next record in a Table

I am trying to use next record into a 2 columns 4 rows. The data for the 2 columns is the same record but each row is using another record. When I put in next record the data changes in the rows but not within the columns. I am probably
placing the next record in the wrong place. But I have tried placing in a number of places.

Hi Lori,

Let's start with the application and version of the application you
are referring to. :)

Then please describe the task you are trying to perform.

I presume you are referring to Word and mail merge, but you could also
be describing any number of scenarios in the Office applications.
