Using normal.dotm as default template

I am moving files from my laptop to my PC. I'm using Word 2007. On my
laptop, my my normal template has macros enabled, and I need to use that
same template as my default template on my PC. I copied all of my
templates from my laptop to my PC (hoping to be able to save my macros,
toolbar buttons auto correct entries). How do I bring up/use this macro
as my default macro? Also, it does have a yellow ! in the icon, so I'm
not sure what that means, maybe indicating the macro???

The default template for Word 2007 is normal.dotm which will be in the user
templates folder (as defined at Word Options > Advanced > File Locations >
User Templates). Copy the required template to the similar location on the
second PC with Word closed, to replace the original that Word will have
created.

The user template folder should be a trusted location in Word 2007.

Whether or not macros may be run is set from Word Options and is not stored
in the normal template.

Okay, when I look at Word Options to customize my toolbar and choose
Macros, the macros are showing, so Word is obviously using the correct
normal.dotm and my macros carried over (and when I enabled the Developer
tab they showed up there too). But, my auto correct entries did not
seem to carry over. Are they stored somewhere else? And I guess my
personalized toolbar settings (extra quick launch icons) didn't seem to
carry over, so I guess I just have to add those back?

Autocorrect entries are stored according to language in ACL files in the
folder
%appdata%\Microsoft\Office
The QAT is stored in Word.qat in the folder
%appdata%\..\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Office
Copy the paths to your browser address selector window
