Using Notes field

I am using MS Project 2007. I like the GANTT chart scheduling sectio
but most of my tasks have lot of notes that i take down durin
scheduling meetings and i like to put them under Notes column so other
can see the history when they print it out. But the problem is if I ad
a custom Notes column it only shows the first line of notes if I hav
multiple lines in one note. Has anyone come across this and found a wa
to overcome it?

Hello rockcandy2006,

If you double click on the task to show the Task Information dialog
box, you can type notes to your heart's content on the Note tab.

You're correct, if you add the notes field to the table (left side)
it will chop off at the first hard return or after 255 characters.

To print out the full notes, choose File > Page Setup. On the View
tab, click the Print Notes checkbox. The notes will now print on a
separate page.
