Using Office 2007 at home and work

I sometimes need to take work home and do not want to have to spend $400-500
dollars for the office programs so that they can be installed on the home
computer. Is it possible to get a reduced license fee if the programs are
being used by the same user at work and home?

No
If your employer requires that you undertake work at home then they need to
provide you with the neccessary software.
If it is your own business, then depending on the actual version of office,
and whether its a retail version, the licence may permit use on 2 devices by
the same user

If you choose to take work home, then the expense is on you. If you are
required, then your employer should be supplying you with the software.

If your employer is large enough, they may offer the Home Use Program. Ask
your IT department.

Sorry to bud in here but I have an OP in the Hungarian Office group who created a
Web page in Publisher 2003 using Windows XP Pro..
He is saying that the page he created is accessible on the Net with IE6 but not with
IE8,Opera,Chrome and etc. He is asking if this issue can be corrected with Publisher
or what can he do to have all browsers to be able to access his Web page on the Net
not just IE6.

Thanks

There are really knowledgeable folks that deal with Publisher Web Design. There
is an example of a Publisher web here. I can see it with IE8.

Tell him to use a PROPER web page creation application - Publisher is NOT a
web page creation application. It has the same web faults as FrontPage....

I would have thought you would have know better than hijack someone else's
