Using Office 2008, Need Office X ?

Norm

I was going to delete Office X now that I've been using Office 2008 for
a month or so.

Any reason not to delete?

Any "best" way to remove Office X related files that aren't needed by
Office 2008?

Thank you.

Hi Norm:

Just hang onto it until you get a version of Office with VBA. You never
know when you will be sent a document that requires VBA, and Office 2008
doesn't have any.

The reason to hang onto it is that Office vX will do things Office 2008
can't.

Cheers

I have gone a step further and deleted all of Office 2008 except Entourage and vice versa with Office 2004. It is impossible to work without access to VBA and the new 2008 apps (except Entourage) do not offer a big enough improvement to ditch the old versions which function brilliantly.

Yup! You and I are waiting for Office 2010 version 14.1.0 :)
