OK, I am looking at buying a new computer that will probably come loaded with
Works 8.0 and possibly a trial version of Office 2003.
I am currently running Office XP on my old computer, and all I have is an
upgrade CD because I upgraded from a previous version (and also have my
Office 2000 disks, but they were also upgrades). I'm sure I don't have
anything for whatever software I upgraded to 2000 from...
Will there be any way to install Office XP (using upgrade CD) on the new
computer when it already has newer versions installed? I can't afford both a
new computer AND a new version of Office, but I absolutely have to have
Office running if I buy a new machine.
Are there any workarounds? I'm the legitimate owner of the software, and
really want to continue using it.
Thanks for any advice.
