Using on-page links & references

I'm creating a large-ish Activity diagram. To keep it clean, I'm using on-age
reference shapes. I'd like to link the ref shape back to the original. Can't
find info in Help file about on-page links. Should be simple, but....
Thanks in advance for your ideas and help!
