Using Other Heading Style as Prefix for Page Numbers

I've developed a company-specific template with numbered heading styles other
than Heading 1, etc., to prevent styles reverting to the default on
individual users' machines. Is there a way to use the numbering in these
special headings as the prefix for the page numbers?

No, you can only use the (numbering of the) built-in styles. See
