Using Outlook 07, will importing a .pst file, delete my e-mails?

I need to import 200 e-mails from my Desktop pc, to my Toshiba Notebook.

If I import the .pst file (Personal Folder File) into Outlook 07, how can I
prevent my existing e-mails from being deleted.

Why should they be deleted, within 2007 open this data file, then drag &
drop, then close this pst
