We have been using custom forms with Outlook 2000 for a
couple of years now. Are attempting to use them on an
Outlook 2003 client. Most functions seem to work fine.
However, we have run into a problem.
We cannot create a new item, using a custom form, in a
public folder. Error message: "The object could not be
found." This is true whether we try to create the item
from code or by clicking "New" when in the appropriate
folder.
If I change the folder properties to use a default outlook
form for new items ("When posting to this folder, use:"),
I can then add items using the default form. However,
when I switch back to using custom forms for new items,
the error message returns.
I can add items to private folders (contacts, calendar,
tasks...) using custom forms.
Has anyone run into this or a similar problem?
