using outlook controls...but not in outlook!

I'm trying to create my own form and use the "To..." control in order
to enter users from my address book.
I found that I can only call the address book form, but couldn't find a
way to use the original "To..." control, which is much better, since I
can enter free text and use the CTL-K function, etc. (and also call the
address book control by pressing the "To..." button).

Is there a way to access the object model of this control?
Is there a similar control that I can purchase?

P.S. I tried developing its capabilities, but there were too many
problems with it...

Thanks!

No.

Not that I know of.

Is there perhaps a way I can create a custom form in Outlook, using
that control and then calling that form from an external application?
I only succeeded in creating a "message" custom form, but it includes
the standard toolbars, menus and functionality of a message, while I
only need the control itself for selecting/entering e-mail addresses.
Any ideas?

You can use CDO 1.21 or Redemption to invoke the Select Names dialog and return the user's choices. See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/code/selectnames.htm
