Using outlook express in Word 2007

The send email command is greyed out. I don't want to use OUTLOOK, but I
prefer to send by Outlook Express. In my new Office 2007, I can't seem to
send by Outlook Express within the Word. Any suggestions? FTM

How long have you had this problem? OE is not supported anymore, is
unstable and, well, a pile of steaming shit. Outlook, OTOH, is far
superior and much easier to back up. It also has a junk filter that OE
doesn't have, real time spell check, among many other useful features.

If you insist, open Internet Explorer and go to Tools/Internet
Options/Programs tab and set OE as default. Yes, I wrote "Internet
Explorer".

Make sure that Word is selected as the HTML email Editor in IE\Properties\Programs
then open OE and compose email. Also make sure that OE is the Default email client
in IE\Properties\Programs

In Internet Options do you have Outlook Express set as your Mail
application?

If you have Outlook installed, and you dont use it, uninstall it, as every
Office update will reset Outlook as the default
