Using Outlook for E-mail

I am attempting to switch my e-mail account from Outlook
Express to Outlook in Office XP. Any time I attempt to
send a message from Outlook, I get the following error
message: "The operation failed. An object could not be
found." I have reloaded the Office XP program but still
have the problem. Does anyone have a cure for this?
