Using Outlook on a Network

I want to be able to look at, add and edit contact details on Outlook, using
my laptop downstairs. The main computer upstairs holds all the information
on Outlook XP, the laptop downstairs has Outlook 2003. We have connected the
two computers for internet and file use, using an ethernet cable. What can
we do next? Any answers in Non Technical format would be much appreciated!!

Hi Frances,

you can not share Outlook PST files by default in Outlook. You can install
an Exchange Server or you could try 3rd party tools, but without any
additional program, you can not share Outlook.
