Using Outlook to manage class schedule

My daughter is a first year law student with heavy workload. She is looking
to use Outlook to manage her class schedule, research etc. Any help and
direction would be appreciated.

Sorry - crystal ball is still on vacation.

1. What version of Outlook?
2. What does she actually want to do with Outlook and her class schedule?
3. What does she want Outlook to do with her research?
4. etc. is a hard one to answer.

If you post exactly what she requires, someone can answer. As it stands, we
have no idea where to start.
