Using Pantone colours

Hi, We have been trying to use Pantone colours in a word document so that we
colour 'seperate' it for a printing press. We would like to know how to load
a pantone colour chart into our colour palatte. Also does anyone know how to
load CMYK. RGB isn't any good to us.

Thanks

In Word? Word's not a publishing tool....color separations in Word?

Hi, We used to have a pantone chart in our colour palette (then we'd make a
PDF and take it across to a publishing program). We had a crash and
re-installed word and now dont have the pallette (or the CMYK one) and are
wondering how to get it back.

Thanks

It sounds like you had a third party add-on that you need to replace through
that third party.
see Knowledge Base Article 820764 which reads in part:
SUMMARY
Many graphics programs allow you to specify color values by using the
Pantone system. Microsoft products cannot provide the red, green, and blue
(RGB) colors associated with the Pantone colors or the percentages of cyan,
magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK) used by the Pantone system.
