Using PDFMaker with Word

I could not open a Word document, which was apparently
created by the author in PDFMaker, in Word 97. I tried
disabling the macros and still nothing. The application
freezes. I must say, I got the doc to open once, but not
again.

Does anyone have any experience using PDFMaker docs in
Word?

A document created using PDFMaker is a PDF file, not a Word doc. You can
read and print it in Acrobat Reader. To edit it you need the full version of
Adobe Acrobat.
