Using PeoplePc, I can receive but not send mail?

PeoplePC is telling me that I am having a problem that should be referred to
Microsoft. Outlook Express works okay but I am having a problem with Outlook
sending mail. I have everything set to the settings they told me at PeoplePC
but it still doesn't work. Error is 550, server requires authenication but
this is checked in the setup but it doesn't send.
