using png files in word?

I downloaded clipart from the microsoft website. i tried inserting these PNG
files into Word, but i keep getting this Error 0X800C0008. I am using Office
2003. I have updated by MDAC files as well. I am able to use the mwf. images,
but not the png. When looking at the protperties of the clipart, there is no
Open with details, the path shows

Not sure what else to do? Please help!

Error message when you try to insert a clip art image in an Office 2003 program
or in an Office XP program: "Clip Organizer cannot complete the operation. Error
Code 0x800c0008"

It might help to associate the .png with a viewer such as Windows Picture and
Fax viewer.

I have tried this, but to no avail. i still cannot see these clipart images.

Are you trying to insert the .png directly from the Office web site?

If you are, clear your temp cache, see if it helps. In Internet Explorer, tools,
Internet Options, delete, delete files.

Might think about putting the Office site into your trusted area.

In Internet Explorer, tools, Security tab, high-light Trusted sites, click the
sites button.
Uncheck, *Require server verification (https for all sites in this zone.* Type
http://office.microsoft.com in the address bar, click add.
