using PP to make a business card on CD rom

P

Patsy

Hi all,

Thanks in advance for your help. I have read through about
40 pages of posts and not only am I in awe of the brain
power and your generosity in sharing your knowledge but I
think my eyes are permanently crossed! I also think I may
have asked this already and if so, then please feel free
to step on my keyboard!

I think I can use PP 2003 to make a business card on a
mini disk. This would mean making a show that autoruns
when inserted into a computer that has autorun enabled on
its player. The show would be the information from a
standard business card (boring, etc) but I can also put
information about my business - as if the viewer had gone
to my office website. I should use the "at a kiosk" option
when creating the new show. I should use the pack and go
to a CD option but save it to a folder on my hard drive.
Then when it comes time to burn my business cards for
handing out, I should use the software that came w/my
burner but not the XPhomeSP2 copy feature and try to avoid
using Roxio. If I need an excellent autorun script, I
should go to Sonia's pages for it.

Does it sound like I've got the gist of it or should I
head for the adult adhd diagnostic quizzes on the net?!?

Any input/help/assistance/advice/etc is greatly
appreciated! And while I know about this cool thing called
the internet and marketing companies who would do this
entire task for me in half the time it took to type this
post, I like to do things for me because there's also this
thing called a neck and if anyone's gonna get their hands
around mine, it's gonna be me! ;)

Many thanks! Get safely to where you're going .

Since you have PowerPoint 2003 you don't need the software I offer. Use the
feature in PowerPoint. Go to File > Package for CD.

One small warning. Make certain to test the pressie with the viewer BEFORE
doing any of these. May just save you from making a bunch of coasters...
