I was asked to look at different alternatives in using MS Outlook
Calendar. Here is the scenario:
Basically they wanted to use Public Calendars to allow the users by
department to update weekly there plans, availability, ect...
Basically, I setup Public Calendars by department and added the
neccessary users to the list. Permissions where change to accomodate
if they could add, remove or delete.
This was ok, though they wer looking at more like 1 public calendar
where it can manage groups/users. I've not seen this nor less heard of
this.. though figure I would ask.
2) The possibility of using the calendars as timesheets, is this
possible without any add on apps? If so, how would one go about it?
Really looking at ideas or suggestions to see if there is a way to
accomodate both requests. If it's bty third party apps, then I'm up
for suggestions on this also.
Users are a mix match of OUtlook 2003 and 2007 accessing an exchange
server.
Thank you,
