Using Publisher to Creat Web Images

C

Chris Fisher

I am not a MS publisher user yet, but am willing to buy the package if it
can help me. I am trying to find a package that I can use to create some
images for a web page. Does publisher allow me to save what I create in a
format that I can put into an html page, like jpg, gif, or something?

Microsoft Publisher is not designed for this type of image manipulation. I
would recommend you look at something like say Digital Image Pro 9,
PhotoDraw 2000v2, PhotoShop Elements or one of many other popular image/web
imaging programs.

Be careful - all versions of Publisher meet your needs
EXCEPT Publisher 2002 which insists in coverting .jpgs
into .png files. Can be overcome but is a complex and
lengthy business. Try Publisher 2000.
