Using PWA to display resource availability

S

Simon

I have been experimenting with the Portfolio Analyzer with the objective of
showing graphically how busy (chargeable) staff are forecast to be over next
few months. I have posted an example from my test server below:

What my managers would like is more like Outlook's group schedule view where
staff availability is shown in swim lanes with time along the x-axis. Can a
similar thing be done in Project Server?

Thanks

Hi Simon,

I am sure that you are aware of the Availability graph within the Resource
Tab, which is interesting but does not necessarily cover all.
I believe that you are on the right path with the Portfolio Analyser. You
can have different graph's within the Portfolio Analyser ( basically the same
then in Excel) with almost the same flexibility.

In regards to your question with the Availability shown as an x-axis graph,
yes you can do this in the Portfolio Analyser. I have discovered the great
functionality of this tool by "palying" with it and its graph's.
I hope this helps
