Using redundant tasks multiple times in a project

I have a project that requires the same task be done over
and over at different customer sites. I would prefer to
have a single sub-task that has a duration and resource
assigned to it and then insert that sub-task in other
tasks as required. However, I need to be able to update
the sub-task and it in turn update all the others I've
copied elsewhere in the same proejct. I have Project
2002 Standard.

The only way to do that reliably is to have a small VBA macro.
