We are running MSP 2003 Server and have the "allow projects to use local
based calendars" disabled. Our PMs are starting to ask for the ability to
change Resource Calendars to reflect the time a resource will be unavailable
to the tasks assigned. Would someone please explain to me what the pros and
cons are of allowing this and how we would activate it? I'm thinking that
the Resource Calendar would not tie into the Enterprise Calendar and
therefore we would not have an accurate reflection of availability. I also
would not want the PMs to have rights to the Enterprise Resource Pool.
