Whenever I open this plan it prompts the "using resource" filter dialog box.
HOw can I get this to stop?

Open the project in question, then click View - More Views. In the More
Views dialog, click the Edit button for the View that is currently selected
(and displayed in the project when you open it). By chance, is the Using
Resources... filter selected in this View? If so, change it back to the All
Tasks filter, then click the OK button and Apply button. Save the project
when finished. Let us know if this solves your problem.

Hi Dale,

This plan uses our enterprise views which leverage the all tasks filter. I
changed views, applied and returned back to the enterprise view. After saving
and closing we reopened to have the same issue.

This one is really an oddity... Might there be a property of the file which
I can modify in the DB?

What the name of the View that displays when you open the project? If it is
an enterprise View, your Project Server administrator should open the
Enterprise Global, edit this View, and make sure the All Tasks filter is
applied in the View. Let us know what you find.

I am the admin. I do not allow PMs to modify our views.
I double checked just to verify that this View utilizes the All Tasks filter
and it does. If it wasn't I would see this issue everywhere and things would
make sense.

This little anomolie make no sense.

I cancelled the Using Resources filter prompt and it went back to the View
w/ all tasks set as its filter. I then saved the plan thinking that it would
flush out that filter setting, nope.

Very wierd which is why I was looking for a property that I could update in
the DB...

Not exactly BP but we must move forward also

Well, I'm stumped, my friend! Perhaps someone else has an idea for you.
Sorry I can't be more help. :(

I'm having the same identical problem. I checked all my views to
ensure there was no filter. It is only happening to 1 project. When
opening the project on multiple machines by the PM or the Admin, the
filter appears. We are in version 2003.
