Using resource pool in 2003

I have a shared resource pool which has got out of whack. We have doubling
up of resoucre allocation becuase individual projects have been copied into a
Master Project causing the double up. People have also deleted project
worksheets that are still linked to the resource pool. In all it is a mess.

Is there any way we can totally refresh the shared resource pool. We have
thought of recreating the worksheet and removing and re-adding all the
resouces to the projects, is there a simpler way.

Hi,

Unattach all projects from the pool. All resources currently assigned in
those projects are automatically copied to the project.


Create a new, blank project for you new resource pool and attach all current
projects to it.

Make sure you do unatach all projects before deleting otherwise corruptions
will happen.

Hi Richard,

Yes - use Tools/Resource Sharing/Share Resources.../and select or deselect
to use own resources or those of the pool.
