Using resource pools

Ginster

Hi,

I've been experimenting with using resource pools, and am having some problems.

I've got a database set up with some plans already there, and a resource pool. I've been trying to import an existing plan, and attach it to the pool, but when I do so I find that task durations change (generally getting shorter)

I identified that this was partially down to different standard calendar definitions between the two files - the resource pool had a 7.5 hour day, and the plan had an 8 hour day. But having fixed that, the problem still happens

Anybody have any other suggestions as to why the task durations change?

Thanks
Roger

Hi Ginster,

It's the resources' calendars that change the durations, not th "hour per
day" parameter.
