I have a user using Outlook 2007, connected to a 2003 exchange server.
She's running in cached mode, so her .ost file is available off line.
My issue is when she is creating an email in outlook, she will choose
the Options tab, then Save Sent Item -> Other folder, then choose a
folder other than her sent items to store the sent email in.
In some cases it works with out a hitch. In other cases, the email
completely disappears. I ran a trace on the email on the exchange
server to verify that the email was indeed sent, which it was. She
even got a reply back from the person she sent the email to. I did a
complete search on her inbox, and all sub folders, deleted items, and
sent items and didn't find anything.
She did this all the time in 2003 with no problems. I don't know what
else to do to find them or diagnose the problem.
