using scripting to install office feature

My organizations of around 35.000 workstations use SMS to distribute
office 2003.
One of the features of Microsoft Office 2003 is the "Microsoft
equation editor 3.0".
Default the installation state for this feature is install on first
use.
However, there is no option for the user to install the requested
feature unless he/she goes to the add/remove software applet.

Since most of our users are, eeuh not quit computer literate ;-) I was
wondering whether it is possible to automate the installation of
features using a VBS Script or a specific SMS commando.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
