Using "Send To:" with a file deletes the text that is added.

I frequently use the right click "Send To Mail Recipient" to forward a file
in an email. If I add text to the email body and then <Send>, the text gets
deleted. I can duplicate this error at will. I am using the XP and the
latest Office Excel with windows Update and the latest service packs.
