Using SharePoint with Windows 2000 for Project Server

We have a single server installation of Project 2003. We have not loaded WSS
because the OS on the server is Windows 2000. Is it possible to load an
older version of STS and have it connect to Project Server? Or would we be
better off waiting the couple of weeks and installing fresh on a new box with
Windows 2003?

Not possible as STS is not compatible with Project Server 2003, so you have
no choice but to wait.
