I'm using a column in a SharePoint list as a data source for a drop-down
menu in InfoPath. This is working, but the drop-down is affected by the
Limit settings on the list. In order to see all of the items in the
drop-down, I have to set the list limit to some arbitrarily high number,
which affects how the list is displayed elsewhere.
So I got the bright idea to create a separate view for the drop-down, and
change the settings there. This doesn't work, as the drop-down seems to use
the AllItems view regardless of how I set the data source.
My workaround is to set the AllItems to a large number, and use a custom
view for everything else. This works but is not ideal.
Has anyone seen this problem? Is there a way to force the drop-down to use
an alternate view?
