Using Special Characters

R

RandyK

Greetings - We know that using special characters in the naming convention
of a project causes havoc in the enterprise versions of msps. My question is
- does using special characters - specifically the parethesis ( ) at the
task level cause any problems such as adjusting actuals?

RandyK,

I do not have the "official" word for you but I have not had an issue with
this at the task level.

Are you having an issue?

Randy:

I would expect these to potentially cause problems only when this data is
pushed to analysis services. Something to think about for 2007 is the
ability to do this, and what that should mean to you in setting your task
naming conventions.
