Using sql application role

I have an Access 2003 FE and a SQL 2005 BE. I have the syntax and an
application role on the BE.

How do I tell Access to use the role and password when connecting? Is this
done in the ODBC connection or do I have some code that runs when access is
starting. Sorry, this is the first time I am connecting Access to SQL.

I do file/open, then scroll down to the bottom and there are ODBC
connections. Put in username and password.
