Using Standard Reports

I would like to use the standard reports engine in Visio to produce an excel
report that lists the custom properties of the objects I have in my drawing.

The issue I am running into is that I only want the the report to be for the
objects that are visible. I use layers extensivley to dynamically change the
drawing by selecting whether a layer is visible or not.

When I run the reports that I have created, they always report the
information for ALL objects whether they are visible or not. I have not been
able to identify anything in the advance criteria settings for a report that
would allow me to filter on the visibility of an object on a layer.

Reports can be run for selected shapes, but then it is only for the active
page.
