Using Styles

I have been using styles in most of my documents, but in the last couple of
days when a select a line that has a style applied, then select the styles
pane on and right click on the highlighted style it shows "Select All: Not
Currently Used". It is also grayed out and not selectable.

I have been using this to check my formatting. Any idea why this would stop
working?

To use the Select All feature, you have to have "Keep track of formatting"
checked on the Edit tab of Tools | Options (or the corresponding location in
Word 2007).

Thanks for the help, to get to it in Word 2007 it is under Word Options,
Advanced, Editing Options, Keep Track of Formatting.
