using tab key in a form created document in Word 2004

Hi,

Another question, I have created a form with a template in Word. The
text form fields work fine, but when I hit the tab key to go to the
next text form field..the typing starts just next to the first text
form field and doesn't jump to the second form field. I can place the
cursor in the 2nd text form field and type but cannot use the tab to
jump to the next available text form field.

HELP...
