When you add a field control to a form by dragging it from the field
list (View > Field List), Access by default uses the field's caption
for the control's label. If there isn't a caption, it uses the name of
the field. Is there way to change the default behavior so it uses the
field's description for the label?
If not, is there a way to have the descriptions copied into the
captions? (maybe using a function or macro?)
Basically I have a table of about 100 fields, each of which has a
succinct description (but no caption). I'd like to use these
descriptions as the fields' form labels.
Thanks.
