Using templete

Help!
I've found a templete that fits my needs perfectly online. I downloaded it
and it seems to work fine, however, when you first open it you get a few
goofy error messages. How do I fix it so I can use this templete
(membership/2007 ver.)
The messages include "On Got Focus"
This one happens when you move the mouse near the 'Member'
switchboard, which is blank: "On Mouse Move" and continues to pop up until
you close (x) the "member" window.

They both mention macros, and I have a feeling it has something to do with
the security settings (how to I permantly allow to avoid this?)

This program will be used by a public library "friends" group that raises
funds for our library so this has to be user friendly & not require my end
user confusion!

Thanks,

I am using Access 2007. Is this the problem. I really think it is the "trust
source" issue, but I am really new to using access. I read the "missing
manual" guide to build one from scratch, but I had difficulties building the
relationships and I'm getting too close to my deadline. This templete is so
close to what we need that I decided to use it instead of "reinventing the
wheel".
Thanks,

You need to report accurate error messages (my "goofy" is not your
"goofy :)) as well as the code in the macros. Maybe then we can make
sense of it.

Security settings: Office Button > Access Options > Trust Center.

Hi Millie,

No. Well said:

You are correct--it is a trust issue. This sample uses VBA (Visual Basic for
Applications) code. Access 2007, by default, blocks VBA code from running.
This is why the Switchboard form appears empty to you. I verified that the
sample works correctly in Access 2003, but produces the same error you report
when run with the VBA code disabled. I think my Trust Center article should
be helpful for you:

(This is a brand new web site, so it's a bit sparse at the moment).

Thanks, btw, for helping out! I ended up allowing all macros since it is an
isolated machine. It works fine, now.
