Using text delimited files to load and append Access tables

I have developed a desk top application that works great with the data I have built in my tables. The last step of my development is to create like a background utility that will be started by an ontimer event in a form to use text delimited files accesses from a remote location via a phone line. I am a fairly new Access & VB user. I need help with VB code that will access the test file and load it into a temporary table. Then I will use queries to update my existing tables. Does anyone have an example of code that does this. I am using Access 200
