using the 60 day trial

I downloaded the 60 day trial because I'm working on a project and our
computer crashed a few days ago, and this needs to get finished. I did
everything the steps online said to do, and now I can't edit the presentation
I sent to myself in an email yesterday or create a new presentation. Nothing
works. I activated it and everything. It says it's supposed to fully
function.. am I missing something? I REALLY really would appreciate help...
I'd like to pass this class thanks.

What errors are you getting when you try to open the presentation?
How did you save it?

If I recall correctly, only 2003 is downloadable, if that the version you
used?
