Using the same products for different opportunities???

I have a need to be able to use the same product several times at once but
with different info. For example, I might have coffee, item number 12345 in
a list of items that has an incentive of $1.00 per case sold. While at the
same time the same coffee may have an allowance of $5.00 per case. Is there
any way to build seperate lists of products to allow me to show them as
separate opportunities or even better yet show both the incentive and
allowance in the same opportunity.

There's only a single product list, but the products are copied (not
linked) to the opportunities. That means that once in an opportunity
you can edit them--e.g. change their name, description or price--in
that opportunity.
