I have an application that calls an Excel 2000 macro from within an Access
2000 procedure using the shell function. After Excel has finished, I have
programmed it to close, but am having difficulty getting Access to detect
this. Is there a way for Access to detect when the Excel macro has finished
it's job? The Application ID returned by the Shell function doesn't seem to
help me. I need to inform the user when Excel has finished by displaying a
message.
Thankyou
