Using the WSSmigr tool for Project Server

Has anyone used the WSSmigr tool to recover a single project sharepoint site?
Did the recovery delete all the other project sharepoint sites in the server?
Can this be avoided in the future?

Make it easy on yourself and buy AvePoint "DocAve" Doesn't cost too much and
it backs up and restores all the way to the document level. Works great. I
have done 4 or 5 restores and it worked seemlessly.

Sorry I can't answer your initial questions but hope this helps moving
forward.

Is there a "WSSmigr" tool or do you mean smigrate. If using smigrate you
only add back the site that you have backed up into an empty site (with
template not chosen) - i.e. a recovery doesn't affect any other site on the
server.

Yes. It allows you to recover deleted Sharepoint sites associated with
projects in Project Server. When I executed a recovery for testing, it
recovered the target site, but deleted all the other sites on the server.
